Mother's Day

We went to Dave's parents to celebrate Mother's Day. It was a nice and relaxing afternoon. Only two of the brothers were missing and Grandpa Ricks came over too for dinner. Here are a couple pictures of the day.

Mom Ricks opening up her gifts. Many of them brought tears to her eyes.

With all the boys.

Happy Mother's Day to my moms! I love you!

Enoch Easter

I flew out to Utah for Easter this year since 1) Dave was going to be gone for 2 weeks on a work trip and 2) Dave, Mel, and Lilia were going to Utah too. We flew in the same day and just played a lot. I left a few days before them so I wouldn't miss too much of work. Anyway, here are some pictures of what I was up to in the great City of Enoch.

During the Saturday Conference sessions, I went to my friend Holly's house to visit her, her baby, and our friend Zoie who we hadn't seen in years. We had lunch and then just visited for awhile. Then a few days later Holly came to my house so my family could see her and her baby.

My mom and Melanie who is getting practice with a baby boy. She is due at the end of May with her first boy.

After the afternoon session of Conference, we hid eggs outside for Lilia to find. She soon discovered that there was candy inside and so we had to start opening all the eggs.

We had an attempt at a photo shoot with Lilia in her new easter dress. She is so funny and adorable.

After Conference on Sunday we went to visit my Grandma Brough who I hadn't seen in several years. She loves seeing her great-grandbabies.

Lilia was tired of pictures.

The last night there, we had a baby shower for Melanie. Her sister and nieces came down. Here are the girls.

Here's everyone at the babyshower. Kaela, Mom, and Aunt Carol.

Family Fun Day

The weekend Matt started his Sprink Break, Mom Ricks decided to have a Family Fun Day. So we started with bowling. It was a lot of fun. I won the first game and lost the next one. Matt and Dave played a third but the rest of us were too tired. Take a look at our incredible form below.

This is the only picture of me at bowling. Don't you like the shoes?

Good technique.

I feel like he is getting ready to do a long jump. Hey whatever works, right?

Trying to coax his ball to go the right way.

Look at the air on that ball.

After bowling, we went to a park and had a scrumptious picnic lunch. Then we walked down to the tennis courts and I played tennis for the first time ever. It was fun but I'm not very good. I hit several balls over the fences. So after awhile and when Dave started to get his stomach pains, I watched while Dad and Matt continued playing. Mom watched us play and took a nap.

Anyone for tennis?

Take your position.

Look of defeat.

Look at Dave's stance. Pretty serious.

I love Dave's face in this one.

After tennis we went home and took it easy until dinner time. We went out to eat and brought Grandpa Ricks along.

It was a great day and I can't wait for our next Family Fun Day!
