This past Friday I got to go to the Jelly Belly Factory. It was pretty cool. Dave, Mom, Aunt Louise, Aunt Darlene, and Kimmy were there too. The tours are free. They give you a little hat to wear and then you walk around the factory. You see how they make and ship out the Jelly Bellies. It was pretty interesting and at the end of the tour you get a free mini bag of Jelly Bellies. Who could ask for more? They have a shop where you can get your Jelly Belly garb or just hand pick your favorite kind of Jelly Bellies, along with other candies they sell. Mom bought several bags of Belly Flops (those are the Jelly Bellies that just don't make the cut for perfection.) That should last a little while. After the factory we went to Marie Callender's for lunch. Yummy. We bought a Chocolate Satin Pie to go. So GOOD and RICH! I love food and if you can't tell I have a huge sweet tooth. So needless to say, I was in heaven on Friday.

They make murals out of Jelly Bellies. Here is Ronald Reagan.

"You have just won a brand new car." If it came with free Jelly Bellies for life, I would drive this.

ReplyDeleteSad I missed it! Love that place!!
ReplyDeleteForget the free Jelly Bellies for life, I would drive that car if they gave it to me for free. It's awesome. You also forgot to tell us what your favorite Jelly Belly flavor is. Mine is Strawberry Cheesecake in case you were wondering.
