Dave's birthday fell on a Wednesday this year but we started the night before. When he got home from work, he got to open a birthday present early. I got him an Oakland A's t-shirt, to go along with mine, to wear to the game we went to a couple hours later. We met up with some other friends (the girls went to a friends for the night) and had a ball (pun intended).
The next day Dave took a couple hours off in the morning to sleep in, so I made a special breakfast of breakfast burritos and then Dave headed to work and I went and picked up the girls.
After work Dave got to open the rest of his presents. He got money, a book, and a new game. We ate his favorite meal and then family and friends joined us for cake and ice-cream.
We had a good time celebrating Dave!
