~Veinti-tres de Mayo~

So we finally celebrated another obscure holiday with our friends, the Hudsons, last night.  We had a Cinco de Mayo dinner planned but we had to postpone it a couple of times due to work and illness but it finally happened.  So I guess really it was a Veinti-tres de Mayo celebration.  We had nachos and beer (of the root) and then played Scattergories.  It was so fun to see them again and we can't wait for the next get-together.  June doesn't have that many options in the way of obscure holidays though.  I'm thinking maybe a party celebrating the first day of summer.  We'll see.

Rootbeer is muy delicioso.  You see what I did there?  I wrote some spanish to make our celebration more authentic or maybe I should say authentico.

The girls getting reacquainted with each other.

Such big girls.

  2. Oh and I like how you had a Cinco de Mayo party. We did that before but not this year because Michael was working. Mexican food is awesome.

  3. Oh no worries. There are plenty of obscure/bizarre holidays available.
